Work and life philosophy- who are you?
Let’s discuss your philosophy, we all have a philosophy for different things in our life, like parenting working, dating marriage. We have a set of ideals for everything and some of those ideals or philosophies are very different from the next person. You may even have different ideals than your partner and that can be very difficult to navigate especially in a marriage and add children to the mix and it can be downright scary.

Getting out of your comfort zone won’t kill you…hopefully.
I am a creature of habit, which can be good and bad depending on the situation. For vacations I would rather stay at home and do nothing…my wife is not the same so we end up going somewhere. I don’t really want I meet new people and do new things but once I do I am 99% of the time happy I did.

The Ultimate ToDo list and Project tracker- Things 3
I have used a lot of Todo List apps in the past, ToDoist, Microsoft ToDo, TickTick, Google Tasks, Google Keep, Wunderlist, Evernote, OmniFocus, and I even tried to make Notion my to-do list. I actually also used Things 3 early on but went and tried all the others and ended u coming back a few months ago. Let’s review Things 3 a little and during this, I will point out the reasons that I love it and came back to it.

How Solopreneurs Can Boost Productivity with Tech-based and Freelance Support
Starting a new business is a major endeavor. When you decide to do it solo, it becomes an even bigger commitment. However, the lack of partners and employees doesn’t mean that you have to run your business without any support. With the right help, you can increase your business’s chance of success while decreasing your stress levels.

Leftovers: Make time for what is really important.
What about family, I get worn out from work and when I get home I am tired and sometimes frustrated so who gets that awesome attitude...my family. Sometimes I am upset the kids want my attention when I get home because I have had such a stressful day...well guess what dummy, they have been thinking about seeing you all day and spending time with you. They don't care about your work and neither does God, both only see one thing and that is your disinterest, and when you actually give the time...its’s leftovers.

Why I get up at 4 am and you should too if you want to be more productive.
I find I get more done in those 3-3.5 hours before my wife and kids get up than any other point of time during the day. I have a list in Todoist called my morning routine and most of it is to make sure my wife doesn’t wake up to a mess from the kids (and me) but once that list is done I am able to focus on whatever I want…from reading to making videos or writing. There is no limit to what I will work on in the early morning hours. One thing I love is the ability to review emails and my projects completely distracted-free, it has been a complete game-changer for me and my productivity.

Organize your books, your highlights, your notes, and your mind.
I also love taking notes on what I am reading but more importantly, I love to highlight passages or even paragraphs that resonate with me or maybe that I would like to refer back to or research further at a later date. Before the system we will be discussing today the notes and highlights would be captured but never would I go back to review them again…until this system

My testimony.
So my father was an alcoholic and usually would only hold on to a job for 3-6 months at a time and then go on a bender for the same amount of time. My Mom tried to keep things together but my life was constant chaos, it was hard for her to shield myself and my 3 sisters from the craziness living with an alcoholic brings. We lived on Detroit’s Eastside in a 900 square foot house, yep 900 square feet for a family of 6…

75 Hard- my journey to a healthier life.
I had not heard of 75 Hard until my friend Cornelius Lindsey on IG mentioned he was starting it on January 1, and I'll be honest, I saw his post and I was like "Hard Pass on that one my guy". So, I started seeing his posts and was still like "nope", he had a great thing going though...he was doing it with a community of people that follow him and some guys he mentors, it is a great idea to do something 'together' in a time when we really can't be together.

Getting yourself organized, digitally.
When I see someone have an iPhone with 15 pages of apps it drives me nuts! I want to grab their phone, look at the app list, and see when the last time they used some of those apps, and delete them. What about your desktop on your Mac or PC, is it full of files and pictures that have been there forever? What about your email? I personally try to always keep a zero inbox, but I see people in the corporate world that still have all of their emails in the inbox and some people have hundreds still unread…again does that instill confidence in a person when you see that, nope.
